The experts of PROMO DATA have been dealing with databases (exclusively with company information, not personal data on the general public) for more than twenty years, as well as with direct communication. So it is natural that it is important, as in the past so in the future too, for them to observe the spirit and rules of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), and of course, earlier Hungarian legislation: Law XLVIII of year 2008 (on economic advertising activity), Law CXII of year 2011 (Information Law), Law V of year 2013 (The Hungarian Civil Code), etc. With particular regard to the sensitive data of persons featured in the managed databases (e.g. indicative of bodily, physical and spiritual identification, chiefly information concerning their ethnicity, religion, worldview, politics, health and sexual relationships). We have not dealt with data like these in the past, and we do not wish to do so in the future. We do not approach private individuals, either on the telephone, by letter or by e-mail.
